The Stock The Cosprop collection includes garments and accessories, plus an extensive selection of jewellery. It comprises many original pieces, as well as authentic reproductions and replicas. The stock, of course, forms the basis of our Exhibitions department, which specialises in providing costumes for a variety of exhibitions and displays. As each production usually involves a mixture of stock items (altered and re-tailored as necessary) and newly made or sourced outfits and accessories, the collection continues to grow. Cosprop has an extensive range of mostly authentic (and some purpose-made, reproduction) jewellery, covering the entire historic period for which we cater, including specialist, period items such as chatelaines. If it isn’t a garment or a piece of jewellery then it probably comes under the heading of Accessories, a catch-all term that can almost be translated as “everything else”, Cosprop Accessories include hats, gloves, boots and shoes, canes, parasols, bags, fans, carnival face masks and eyewear. We can supply a wide range of props, textiles and items of set dressing. Our prop-makers and decorative artists can also craft individual, made-to-order items, from authentic period reproductions, to works of pure imagination – yours or ours. |
