 Designers
The look of a production begins with the design drawings. The designer is our principal client with whom our in-house costume experts work extremely closely throughout a project. This includes fittings, for which, in the case of principal actors, the designer will normally be present.
Actors
Much of the confidence an actor has in the character he or she is playing is derived directly from the quality and authenticity of the costume. Just as we all face the world with greater confidence and composure when we know we’re well dressed, so the right clothing is an essential part of an actor’s support system.
 Like anything else in a production, clothing has to look not to so much perfect as right. So, where necessary, we employ techniques for “breaking down”, or fading, ageing and muting the sometimes too vivid colours and pristine appearance of new fabric.
